    Visit Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu if:
    • You have time to disconnect for 4 days and connect with the main tourist attractions in Cusco (Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu).
    • You want to travel on one of the best trains in Peru and enjoy the view of the Valley.
    • You are looking for peace and quiet. This time is usually less crowded than in the morning.
    • Your hotel is in Cusco, and you don't want to get up early to go to Machu Picchu. You can take the trains that depart during the morning without worrying.
    • You want to take the best photos. The light at sunset is spectacular.
    • The weather is generally better in the afternoon, except during the rainy season.

    • Day 1: Cusco


    Your visit begins with a transfer from the airport to drop off your luggage at your hotel at 1:00 PM. The tour will begin in Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
    You will visit the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship to the Sun God, on top of which the Dominican Order built a church that still stands today.
    You will continue to the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important Catholic temple in the city.
    The tour ends with a van ride to the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture, and you will visit other important sites within Inca culture, such as the archaeological site of Qenko.
    Finally, the day ends at your hotel.

    • Day 2: Sacred Valley

    o The adventure will begin at 8:00 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel and begin the journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas while you enjoy the wonderful views. You will then visit a small, picturesque Andean village.
    We will continue our journey to Ollantaytambo, where we will stop at a viewpoint for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Get your camera ready!
    At midday, we will stop at a local restaurant where you can have lunch and enjoy Peruvian cuisine (included).
    Finally, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquistadors lost an important battle. Well known for its terraces, Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress that also served as a temple.
    Approximately 8 hours later, we'll drop you off at your hotel so you can rest and recharge for your Machu Picchu adventure.

    • Day 3: Cusco - Machu Picchu

    o This tour begins in the morning, approximately between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. We will take you from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco to our office on Av. El Sol to board the bus that will take you to the Ollantaytambo train station (the first part of our bimodal service, consisting of bus and then train transportation).
    Home train journey: We depart from Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) around 11:15 AM on The Voyager train, Inca Rail frequency 43. Enjoy the stunning natural views that are the best home of the tour!
    Arrival in Machu Picchu Town: Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the Machu Picchu station. Remember that you'll have some time to organize only the most important things for your visit to Machu Picchu.
    Transfer to the bus station: You'll walk to the bus station accompanied by your guide, who will point out recommended restaurants. You'll arrive at the bus station in less than 5 minutes.
    Transfer by Consettur bus: Once at the station, the general wait time is 35 to 45 minutes. Afterward, the bus ride lasts 30 to 40 minutes. Remember that upon arrival at Machu Picchu, our certified guide will organize the group and provide recommendations to ensure your visit is as pleasant as possible.
    o Visit: We will begin the visit around 2:00 PM and will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Enjoy the best part of the tour and discover the secret legends our guide will reveal along the way, while also enjoying the least crowded time!
    Return by Consettur bus: After completing your exploration of Machu Picchu, our staff will guide you to the bus stop around 4:45 PM. Depending on the number of people, there will be a wait time (30-40 minutes). Afterwards, once you are settled on the bus, the trip to Machu Picchu Town will take 30 minutes.
    Free time: You will have approximately an hour and a half to eat something or stroll around Machu Picchu Town. We recommend leaving at 6:30 PM. Start your transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station.
    Return train journey: At 7:00 PM, you will board The Voyager Machu Picchu Train, frequency 46, to Ollantaytambo. You will be back in Ollantaytambo around 8:45 PM. From there, we will coordinate your return to your hotel in the Valley or Cusco.
